Professional Audio Restoration
Got a recording held back by noise, hum, hiss, clicks, pops, or unwanted artifacts? This professional audio restoration service cleans up damaged, degraded, or low-quality recordings and restores clarity so your audio is usable, professional, and ready for the next step.
Whether you’re working with old cassette transfers, vinyl rips, voice memos, field recordings, courtroom audio, interview tapes, archival material, or a song recorded in a less-than-ideal environment, this service brings your audio back to life. Audio restoration is the process of identifying and removing unwanted sound — background noise, hum from electrical interference, hiss from analog tape, clicks and pops from old recordings, distortion from clipped peaks, and inconsistencies that make your audio sound amateur — without sacrificing the integrity of the original performance.
Turnaround: typically 2–4 business days per project. Rush delivery available at checkout.
What This Audio Restoration Service Fixes
Noise Reduction
Background noise, room tone, air conditioning hum, computer fan whine, traffic, and crowd noise are all identified and removed using precision spectral repair tools from iZotope RX — the industry-standard audio restoration suite used in film, broadcast, and forensic audio work worldwide.
Hum and Buzz Removal
Electrical hum at 50Hz or 60Hz, ground loop buzz, fluorescent light interference, and other low-frequency drones are surgically removed so your audio sounds clean and professional without affecting the source material.
Hiss Reduction
Tape hiss, microphone preamp noise, and high-frequency static from older recordings are reduced while preserving the natural detail and breath of the original audio.
Click, Pop, and Crackle Repair
Vinyl crackle, mouth clicks, lip smacks, digital pops from edit points, and other transient artifacts are cleaned out so your audio plays back smoothly from start to finish.
Clip and Distortion Repair
Recordings with clipped peaks, overdriven mic preamps, or digital distortion can often be repaired using advanced restoration tools that rebuild the damaged waveform — restoring headroom and clarity to audio that would otherwise be unusable.
Clarity and Intelligibility Enhancement
Muffled, distant, or unclear dialogue is brought forward using targeted EQ and spectral processing so every word is intelligible — essential for podcasts, interviews, voiceover, legal audio, and archival material.

How It Works
- Place your order — enter the number of files you need cleaned in the quantity box and add any rush delivery at checkout.
- Upload your files — after checkout you’ll receive a short intake form to send your audio along with a note describing the specific issues you’re hearing and what you need the final audio for.
- Review your cleaned audio — your restored file is delivered within the turnaround window for your review.
- Approve and download — once you’re happy, your final cleaned WAV file is delivered and ready for the next step in your project.
Revision Policy
Up to 3 revisions included. You’ll have three rounds to request adjustments so the final result feels right.
Need more? Add Additional Revisions — 3 more rounds for $25, or go Unlimited Revisions for $60 and request as many rounds as you need.
Fair use (applies to all revisions): Revisions cover adjustments to the restoration work — noise reduction levels, EQ, and clarity tweaks. They do not cover new source files or restarting from a new direction. Reasonable turnaround applies between rounds.
